Are Bavaria yachts safe offshore and in heavy weather?
In heavy weather what decides the outcome is the boat’s equipment condition and preparation rather than her badge: rig age, hatch sealing, bilge capacity and whether the reefing system actually works.
Why it works this way
A CE category describes the design limit, not the boat’s present state. On any boat bought with offshore plans, those items are flagged specifically during the survey.
