How is a boat’s market value established?
A correct value is a reasoned range rather than a single number: age, make, length and specification set the frame; technical findings such as moisture, engine condition and maintenance history move it up or down; comparable sales test the result.
Why it works this way
The report states which finding moved the value and in which direction, which is what makes the figure defensible rather than merely stated.
