Should you buy an ex-charter boat?
You can, but with a different eye: a charter boat has been used heavily and usually maintained regularly. The risk lies less in the intensity of use than in the variety of users — steering, fittings and interior wear quickly.
Why it works this way
Maintenance records and the engine’s ECU data are particularly decisive on this type of boat, because usage patterns vary far more than on a private boat.
