What does "recently refitted" mean in a boat advertisement?
In advertising language a refit can mean anything from paint and upholstery to a complete systems replacement; on its own it carries no technical information.
Why it works this way
What is meaningful is which item, when, with what material and by whom — a refit with invoices is a different thing from one without. A survey sees fresh work regardless and records it as recent.
