How long does a yacht survey take?
Field work usually takes between half a day and a full day depending on size and scope, with a sea trial adding roughly half a day. The written report is delivered the same day the field work ends.
Why it works this way
Duration is set less by length than by access: a cramped engine room, a sole that has to come up or a hatch that will not open adds hours another boat of the same length would not.
