How do brokers use Category B and C findings in price negotiation?
The two are handled differently. For Category B items (medium priority, needing attention soon) a written repair quotation is obtained and that figure is deducted directly from the price. Category C items (cosmetic, low priority) are not itemised one by one; they are discussed as a single allowance.
Why it works this way
What works in a negotiation is not the name of a defect but the documented cost of putting it right. Our report supplies that distinction ready-made: every finding carries a priority grade and an estimated cost range, so the conversation moves from opinion to arithmetic.
