Is the survey report accepted for insurance and official use?
Yes. It can be submitted as independent expert opinion when arranging or renewing insurance, for bank collateral valuations, in probate and asset division and in court proceedings. It is issued within the IIMS, ABYC and MCA framework.
Why it works this way
What determines acceptance is who issued the report and under which framework, with findings documented by measurement and photograph. After an incident the same report is the clearest evidence that the damage did not pre-exist.
