What raises and lowers a boat’s value?
The three items that move value most are hull condition, engine history and maintenance records; the equipment list comes behind them. Equipment that does not work lowers value rather than raising it.
Why it works this way
A buyer reads a broken instrument as a repair item. A valuation states explicitly which finding moved the value and in which direction.
